Tuesday Evening Basket

There’s a quiet beauty to a Tuesday evening, a feeling of calm that we sought to capture in this special piece. We chose to work with black rattan for its unique, sartorial feel—it's both dramatic and understated, perfect for adding a touch of texture to a room.

Each basket is hand-woven by us into a simple, functional form that feels at home anywhere. Use it to bring style to your entryway, to gather cozy blankets in the living room, or as a chic home for an indoor plant. It’s a little piece of functional art for your everyday life.

Artisan Made: Designed and handcrafted by Erin and Peggy Pollard and a small team of weavers in Maine and New York.

Materials: 100% Rattan Core, an abundant Climbing Palm grown in South East Asia and sourced through local longtime partners.

Color: We use non-toxic, organic natural dyes and finishes approved by the consumer Product Safety Commission. Each piece is finished in our Maine Studio. Enjoy natural color variations from the plant fibers.

Care: For indoor use. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Rattan is a natural and flexible plant fiber. If misshapen during use, firmly mold back into place.

Note: Due to the freehand nature of our practice, each basket is one-of-a-kind and may have slight variations in shape and size. We do not use molds - each piece holds the spirit of the maker.
