With its clever flat back, The Care Basket hangs flush against the wall, ready to catch all the "I-need-this-to-leave" items, like keys and your phone. It looks handsome holding a bundle of dried flowers, or take it with you on your morning coffee run. Finished in a rich walnut, it’s the simple, functional piece that finally organizes your "coming and going."

Artisan Made: Designed and handcrafted by Erin and Peggy Pollard and a small team of weavers in Maine and New York.

Materials: 100% Rattan Core, including substantial one-inch rattan for a structural feel. Sourced from an abundant Climbing Palm in Southeast Asia through local longtime partners.

Color: Walnut. We use non-toxic dyes and finishes. Each piece is hand-finished in our Maine Studio. Enjoy natural color variations from the plant fibers.

Care: For indoor use. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Rattan is a natural and flexible plant fiber. If misshapen during use, firmly mold back into place.

Note: Due to the freehand nature of our practice, each basket is one-of-a-kind and may vary slightly in shape and size. We do not use molds - each piece holds the spirit of the maker.
