Big Love Basket

Love Baskets are inspired by Shaker Cathead baskets, named because the bottom corners resemble little cat ears. This elegant shape makes for a beautiful fruit bowl, bread basket, or catch-all on a coffee table or as an organizer in any room. Enjoy the beautiful color variations of natural and smoked rattan fibers.

One Love Community Fridge is a nonprofit organization that works to eradicate hunger, food insecurity, and malnutrition, and the stigma associated with them, through an integrated, multi-generational, and inclusive movement centered on access to fresh food, nutrition education, and sustainability.

Artisan Made: Designed and handcrafted by Erin and Peggy Pollard and a small team of weavers in Maine and New York.

Materials: 100% Rattan Core, an abundant Climbing Palm grown in South East Asia and sourced through local longtime partners.

Color: We use non-toxic, organic, natural dyes and stains. Each piece is finished in our Maine Studio. Enjoy natural color variations from the plant fibers.

Care: For indoor use. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Rattan is a natural and flexible plant fiber. If misshapen during use, firmly mold back into place.

Note: Due to the freehand nature of our practice, each basket is one-of-a-kind and may vary slightly in shape, size, and color. We do not use molds - each piece holds the spirit of the maker.
