The collection reflects a shared design language rooted in clarity, texture, and purpose. Underwater Weaving Studio is grounded in Shaker ideals and House of Roro in childhood nostalgia. Both favor simplicity, local making, and a sense of quiet imagination.
This is a shopping basket for your little ones. It's perfect for hauling chocolate croissants or daisies home from the market, gathering favorite toys, or taking a book collection on the go. The basket is made with durable rattan fibers intricately handwoven with hand-painted wooden wheels.

Artisan Made: Designed and handcrafted by Erin and Peggy Pollard and a small team of weavers in Maine and New York.
Note: Due to the freehand nature of our practice, each basket is one-of-a-kind and may vary slightly in shape and size. Each piece holds the maker's spirit.
Materials: 100% Rattan Core, including substantial one-inch rattan for a structural feel. Sourced from an abundant Climbing Palm in Southeast Asia through local longtime partners.
Color: We use non-toxic, organic, natural dyes. Each piece is finished in our Maine Studio. Enjoy natural color variations from the plant fibers.
Care
For indoor use. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Rattan is a natural and flexible plant fiber. If misshapen during use, firmly mold back into place.
